We buy every product we review with our own money. No sponsored posts, no affiliate pressure on ratings, no borrowed samples returned after a photo shoot.

How We Test

Every review follows the same process: we order the product, use it with our own pets for at least two weeks, photograph wear and performance under real conditions, and write up exactly what happened — good and bad.

Our team includes dog owners, cat households, aquarium hobbyists, and small-pet families. When a product sits outside our direct experience, we bring in someone whose pet actually needs it.

• Cat Gear — fountains, trees, litter boxes, calming products

• Aquariums & Fish — tanks, filters, heaters, lights, test kits
• Small Pet Care — cages, bedding, food for rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs

Our Rating Scale

Every product gets a score out of 5. We weigh build quality, value for money, ease of use, and how well the product does the one job it claims to do. A 4.0 means we would buy it again. A 3.0 means it works but has trade-offs. Below 3.0, there are better options.
